اے بنی نوع انسان! جو لوگ ہماری راہ میں شہید ہوئے اُنھیں مردہ مت کہو وہ زندہ ہیں مگر تم
اُس زندگی کا شعور نہیں رکھتے (القرآن) ۔
اٹھارویں صدی کے آغاز تک انگریزی سامراج ہندوستان میں اپنی جڑیں گہری کر
چکا تھااور پوٹھوہار کا علاقہ بھی اُنکی دسترس میں آچکا تھا لیکن اس غیور خطہ کی مٹی ابھی تک بانجھ نہیں ہوئی تھی اور حد ممکن تک اس خطہ میں انگریزوں کیخلاف مزاحمت کا سلسلہ جاری تھا بات مزاحمت تک رہتی تو شاید انگریز سرکار کو اتنی فکر نہ ررہتی لیکن ہوا کچھ یوں کہ ۲۵۸۱ء میں راجہ نادر خان گکھڑ جو کہ اس خطہ کا انتہائی دلیر،جانباز اور سابقہ حکمران قوم گکھڑ کا فرزند تھا نے گکھڑوں کے دارالحکومت قلعہ پھروالہ اور مارگلہ کی پہاڑیوں کواپنا مرکز بنایا اور
آندھی و طوفان کی طرح اُٹھا اور دیکھتے ہی دیکھتے اُس نے اپنی گوریلا کاروائیوں سے انگریزی فوج کا جینا دوبھر کر دیا،اُن کے فوجی اپنی چھاؤنیوں سے کم تعداد میں نکلتے ہوئے خوف محسوس کرنے لگے اور انگریز خطرہ محسوس کرنے لگے کہ وہ جلد یا بدیر اس خطہ پر اپنا کنٹرول کھوبیٹھیں گے یہ صورتحال انگریزوں کے لئے انتہائی تشویشناک تھی فوجی نفری میں خاطرخواہ اضافے،چھاپہ مار کاروائیوں اور بے گناہ لوگوں کی گرفتاریوں اور تشدد کے باوجود بھی نادر خان جب اُن کے ہاتھ نہ لگاتو انگریزوں نے سمجھ لیا کہ نادر خان وہ چھلاوہ ہے جسے کسی مقامی غدار کی معاونت کے بغیر پکڑنا ممکن نہیں اور دھوکہ تو ویسے ہی انگریزوں کی سرشت میں تھا، تجارتی کمپنی کے نام پر جو ایسٹ انڈیا کمپنی بنا کر تخت دہلی ہڑپ چکے تھے، ۲ جولائی ۷۵۷۱ کو پلاسی بنگال میں نواب سراج الدولہ اور ۴ مئی ۹۹۷۱ کو میسور میں ٹیپو سلطان کو میر جعفر و میر صادق و پورنیا جیسے غداروں کی مدد سے شہید کر کہ انگریز ہندوستان میں لاکھوں مسلمانوں کے خون کی ہولی کھیل چکے تھے یہ مشق اُن کے لئے کوئی نئی نہیں تھی خصوصاََ ایسے حالات میں جب سکے خون کے رشتے بھی نادر خان سے برأت کا اعلان کرچکے تھے اُن کی یہ تلاش زیادہ مشکل ثابت نہ ہوئی اور جلد ہی پنڈی کے ایک سابق وزیر کے وڈکے کی صورت میں اُنھیں وہ بندہ مل گیا، جائیداد کی لالچ ملکی و مذہبی حمیت پر غالب آگئی اور اس نے غیروں کے ہاتھوں اپنا وطن بیچنا گوارہ کر لیا،کاش کہ نادر خان کو اس بدبخت کی غداری کی اطلاع ہوتی، یہ بندہ جلد ہی نادر خان کے لشکر میں شامل ہوگیا اور چرب زبانی کی بدولت معتمد حلقے میں جلد ہی جگہ بنا لی، ایک رات جب راجہ نادر خان اپنے گھر واقعہ ماندلہ (شاہدرہ پکنک پوائنٹ اسلام آباد سے متصل) گیا اُس غدار نے اسکی اطلاع کردی جس پر پہلے سے تاک میں موجود انگریزی فوج کی بھاری نفری موقعہ پر پہنچ گئی، سخت مزاحمت کے بعد چیف آف پوٹھوہار راجہ نادر خان کو زخمی حالت میں گرفتار کر لیا گیا،انگریز جج کے سامنے جب راجہ نادر خان کو پیش کیا گیا تو سر سے پاؤں تک زنجیروں میں جکڑے ہونے کے باوجود اُن کی چال میں بغاوت نمایاں تھی،جج نے کہا نادر خان تم ایک خوبصورت نوجوان ہو اگر معافی مانگ لو تو ہم تمہیں معاف کردیں گے انگریز جج کو اُسکی پیشکش کے جواب میں نادر خان ان تاریخی الفاظ میں جواب دیتا ہے میرے وطن پر تم قابض ہو، غاصب تم ہو معافی تم مانگو، میں تو اپنے وطن کی آزادی کی جنگ لڑرہا ہوں مجھے تختہ دار کا ڈر نہیں، نادر خان کے اس جواب کے بعد اُنھیں اور اُن کے ساتھی راجہ کالا خان کو شاہ نیاں ٹالیاں موجودہ کمیٹی چوک مری روڈ راولپنڈی میں کوہلو (بڑے حجم کی چکی) میں پسوا کر انتہائی ظالمانہ طریقے سے شہید کردیا گیا تاکہ آئندہ کوئی انگریز سے بغاوت کا سوچ بھی نہ سکے، لیکن انگریز پھر بھی ہندوستان میں ٹک نہ پایا اس واقعہ کی ۰۰۱ سال پورے ہوئے تو شمالی ہندوستان کے مسلمان نعمت اللہ شاہ ولی رح کی پیش گوئی کے عین مطابق اُس وقت مملکتِ خداداد پاکستان کی آزاد فضاؤں میں سانس لے رہے تھے۔اللہ پاک شہید راجہ نادر خان،راجہ کالا خان اور اُن کے
